Visual Designer
The Role
As a Visual Designer you will shape how millions of people experience a major brand across digital and real world touchpoints. Think web and app, but also print, out of home, in store materials, packaging, ads and even TV. You will see your work in the real world, not only on screens.
You will join the client team while staying part of Dentsu Creative. This gives you hands on product and campaign work, supported by a community of brand designers, designers, marketers and developers. Collaboration between disciplines is a big part of the job, so clear communication and people skills matter.
This is a visual design role with a strong link to brand. You will help define where the brand goes next at the point where product, brand, campaign and technology come together. Craft and detail matter. You will translate strategy and marketing into visual systems that feel clear, consistent and emotionally engaging.
You will split your time between the client office and the Dentsu Creative office in Amsterdam. The setup is flexible and supports close teamwork.
What You Will Do
• Create high quality designs for web, app, print, out of home, in store and campaign touchpoints
• Translate brand principles into scalable visual systems, components and patterns
• Work with brand designers to evolve the brand in a way that is consistent and feels fresh
• Contribute to campaign and TV assets when needed
• Improve and expand the design system and know when to prioritise consistency or expression
• Use AI assisted tools where useful to enhance craft, speed and exploration
• Partner with developers to ensure visual intent is delivered accurately
• Collaborate with people from different disciplines and make complex ideas easy to understand for teams and users
• Spot coherence issues across journeys and platforms and propose improvements
• Stay up to date with visual design, AI tools and modern digital craft

Your Profile
• Strong portfolio that includes digital and print work, not only brand or campaign
• Solid command of layout, typography, colour, hierarchy and visual rhythm
• Illustration skills for concepting and expanding vector styles
• Motion experience for small animations on web
• Passion for craft, detail and polish
• Able to push creativity within structured corporate brands
• Comfortable with design systems and brand frameworks
• Skilled in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of accessibility in visual design
• Strong communication skills and able to explain decisions clearly
• Comfortable in cross functional teams and agile environments
• Confident in English. Dutch is a plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands, ideally near Amsterdam
• Proactive mindset. You look ahead and take initiative rather than wait for tasks
• Love for brand building. Bonus if you enjoy clever wordplay or visual humour
